Hello,
I had undergone an ostomy surgery 1.5 years back and had not taken up exams in the last few sessions due to my health complications. I decided to have a go this time with AFM and had not applied for any additional support. However, on the day of the exam, I had a few issues and lost quite a bit of time. Though I did manage to cover a fair bit of the exam, the time I lost would have been very valuable.
While I do not have any evidence to show my issues that I had during the exam, I do have all the medical records to explain my health condition.
I would like to know if I can apply for mitigating circumstances.
March 11, 2024 at 6:37 pm #702841I do sympathise with your health conditions, but I really am not sure how the ACCA would react to this.
Kim, who is our tutor who looks after the General ACCA Forum is much more knowledgable about the way that the ACCA deals with this sort of issue. So please copy this post and post it in the general forum. I am sure that she will be able to advise you much better than I can.
