    Hi,
I recently updated my iPad(2 I think) to the latest IOS version 8.1. Since then the Open Tuition videos keep cutting out unexpectantly at random points. I did the update on my iPhone(4s) and the same happens on that too.

My wife’s iPhone(4s) works fine (not updated)
When using Library Internet connection it does it most… Every minute
When using 3G connection it does it slightly less
When using home internet it only does it 3 or 4 times a video

My guess is that the updated built in video streaming app in IOS 8 doesn’t cope with the odd glitch in the stream.

I appreciate that you can’t do much, but it’s just a heads up for you as this might become an on going problem if apple don’t fix it in future updates. If there is anything you can suggest/do I’d be very grateful as having to cart my laptop to library now 😉

    Kind regards, Dave

    Hi,
the good news, hopefully, is that apple is going to release soon the update with wifi and performance fix for iOS (not sure how much the performance will improve though.. )

if I may, I think the best would be if you looked and see if you can get cheap upgrade to your internet broadband in general? different provider / different package.. or something

Nothing has changed on the site – it seems iOS 8.1.3 caused it.. or maybe your WIFI connection is weaker at the moment..?? restart the router and see if it helps..
