Hello,
First of all I am very very sorry that I created a thread here, however I am going to delete this thread once I see your replyI have submitted my thesis project in period 37 but now I have identified a mistake actually it’s not a mistake it’s blunder
Let me tell you what I have done. I have written on my research paper, “before launching a media campaign the company chooses KPI from the table of appendix 5”
But the thing is I didn’t mention from where I have extracted that appendix 5 and to be noted that I already extracted annual report separately which I also mentioned that
On the other hand side I also think it will also effect on my referencing style as well. Isn’t it?
However I am writing this to you so that I can know the outcome for this blunder and set up my mind for resubmission.

Although I understand part of the issue – that you have an appendix with KPIs on it that is unrefetenced, you may have lost me with the bit
“and to be noted that I already extracted annual report separately which I also mentioned that” I presume you are saying then that the KPIs came from the same annual report but you haven’t mentioned this fact and referenced these KPIs in your report and spreadsheet, right?The outcome if you are specifically worried about referencing may depend on two things: how thorough and appropriate the rest of your referencing is as the odd slip up is not penalised and whether generally the marker could find everything in your report from your files easily. (The marker’s task is to read and assess your work and your role is to present information in such a manner that they don’t have to hunt around for it – so forgetting to include Appendix 5 completely or not labelling a worksheet or file as Appendix 5 could impede them)
Hopefully the rest of your referencing is OK. It is a bit late though to worry about this now and you will just have to sit it out. However one slip up and you will probably be ok if the rest of your report was well done.
Well, there is a missing of three things
1) whenever you include something on appendix it should be referenced correctly so that markers can identify from where did you get that thing which you missed it2) reference list, you also need to include this appendix in your reference list and I presume that you forgot that too cause you already stated that you did not extracted the information from where did that table came from
3) Style of research paper, you just cant say one portion of my information lies on report and another portion of my information is on appendix. You have to be given all the information on your research paper and those information should be backed up (referenced by your appendix)
However, Now you can not do anything. Truely its a bit of late to be worrying now. I hope that markers will be kind enough to grant you a pass regarding this research paper.
Thanks all specially trephena, yes I can ensure you that I have done only one mistake I have done a numerous level of references on my research paper and marker also advised me to include more references
This is my last attempt thats why my fingers are crossed.
I also agree that this one mistake effect on 3 places but I will stay with trephena, may be they are not going to fail me for this single mistake
