I often have a problem with structuring and answer style of my answers , could u groomit suggest Any tips and are the examiners answers exactly how they would want a real answer from a student giving the paper? For example a silly question of mine was that that I’m questions it says u r the audit manager so does that mean in answer I should talk like as the audit manager I would so on so forth?

Telling you that you are the audit manager is just to indicate what responsibilities you might have eg for planning work, rather than performing detailed tasks.

The best general advice I can give is:

1 Use paragraphs: one for each idea or point you are making
2 Imagine you are explaining to a 16 year-old who has come form school for work experience. You have to spell out in detail what might be required or why something is being done.
3 Try not to use the words ‘check’ or ‘verify’. They are sloppy multi-use words that allow you not to explain in detail. So instead of saying check orders to despatch notes, say inspect a number of orders chosen at random and ensure that each can be matched to a despatch note to indicate that the orders have been fulfilled.
