Can we begin published FS /consolidation with the workings? And drafting the sopl/sofp at the end? Thank u

Yes it is ok, but make sure to make clear references from your workings to numbers in SOFP/SOPL. You gain most of the marks for the workings. Only few are given for pro-forma. Making a nice balance sheet / p&l can only help and impress the marker.

I you want an answer from me, post on Ask ACCA Tutor If you're not bothered a bout my answer, post on the general forum and Seagoat (or someone else) will answer But don't post twice!

Can it really be done any other way? Yes, you could leave room but as long as you've laid out the answer clearly I can't see how this causes an issue... Ok text book answers so statement first, workings second but that is the printed version.
