    Hello dear!

I want to opt p5 but after reading comments of different people, I have analyzed that the approach of this paper is similar to p3.
I want to tell you that I am not good in tackling p3 in exam.
should I go for this paper or not?

Agree with seagoat. This examiner has moved away from the number type questions of the past that were based on F5+F9.

Now more of the paper is similar to P3 with making decisions and explaining what the figures mean.

A lecturer told me where P3 you take the role of someone on the board of directors, with P5 you are the FD on a board of directors explaining the company position to the other directors.

    Hi Amcterna,

It like how your lecturer put it, it has given me a clearer picture of what is expected of me as i am writing both papers in June 2015.

    Thanks a lot!

This paper i am taking in June for first time. However, I have a few friends that has failed this paper multiple times and they are study guru.

I find that this paper requires analytic mind and approach. U first need to identify the problem, come up with a suggestion, but u need to do a little bit more in relaying how this will help to solve the solution.

If u cannot do those then i am afraid u will struggle with this paper.

The ACCA syllabus of P5 requires knownledges in F2, F5 and P3. You should study all these papers before accessing P5.
