Dear John,
Earlier Opentuition used to provide a list of past exam questions pertaining to each lecture in the study guide. Such list used to be really helpful as it would let one go through and practice the corresponding relevant questions as and when one completes going though a particular chapter. Is there any possibility of bringing back such list of questions or is there a possibility of providing access to such previous list on AFM?
Thank you.
November 17, 2020 at 3:21 pm #595313It isn’t really possible for Paper AFM because exam questions require many different techniques in the same question. For example, a investment appraisal question is likely to require DCF calculations, plus cost of capital and CAPM, and maybe estimates of future foreign exchange rates or real options. Similarly questions on foreign exchange risk management are likely to require knowledge of all of the different methods available.
For those reasons it is not really possible to attempt full exam questions until having studied everything.
I assume you have a Revision Kit in which case certainly BPP (and I assume Kaplan, but I don’t have their kit) who include most relevant past exam questions do index them into the broad areas of the syllabus.
