Greetings Sir,
Hope you are doing well.A day away from the Afm exam, for which I was feeling pretty confident, now it’s not the case. I’ve read a few questions which have been rather “difficult” and this has dimmed my confidence for the exam.
For this “second” attempt (first real sitting I would say was in Dec – 45%, given Sept sitting I did not study for it – 39%), I feel like I was better prepared for the Dec sitting than this one and the idea of having to study this paper for another 3 months is awful.What would be your advice on tackling questions in exams even if they are seem to be daunting?

Do not be put off if you find the questions daunting – everyone else will find the questions daunting as well.
Make sure your workings are clear for the marker – the marks are far more for the approach rather than for the accuracy, but only (obviously) if the marker can follow what you are doing.
Make sure you do something for every part of each question, however little you do. It will get more marks than if you leave part of a question out completely.
Make sure you get the 4 professional marks in Question 1 – these are easy marks 🙂
