Expecting a fail – passed 53%
Very happy and thank you open tuition! Couldn’t of done it without you!!!April 13, 2020 at 12:27 am #567552A nice 47% fail for me, very frustrating missing an entire section c question was my downfall.
Who knows when I’ll be able to resit 🙁
April 13, 2020 at 12:30 am #567558Disappointing fail – 49.
Is it worth appealing considering the fire alarm went off (which we have been warned about) but most importantly, the screen on longer questions being difficult to navigate? It wastes time because it constantly says you haven’t read all the question…and there is no split screen to make it easier to see the question and type the answer/calculations at the same time? Any thoughts?Congratulations to all who passed!
April 13, 2020 at 12:35 am #5675661st time pass with a 61. Massive thank you to OT for the platform and materials!
April 13, 2020 at 12:41 am #567575Passed with 56. This is exactly what I expected but you can never tell with these exams.
Thank you OT and good luck to everyone.
To those who have failed on this attempt. Please keep your chin up and get back in the books. I have failed many many exams but I’ll never stop.
April 13, 2020 at 12:53 am #567593Congratulations! 🙂
What other materials did you use to study?
I took the same exam a couple of times… not sure where I am going wrong since they don’t give you feedback…I am working full time and studying on my own…
Thanks! And well done! 😉
April 13, 2020 at 1:02 am #567603Hi justina.
I use open tuition lectures and I ensure that I have attempted every question in either Kaplan or Bpp practice and revision kit.
Even if you have completed them all. Do them
All again. This will ensure that you are familiar with all question types and you get no surprises in the exam.I wish you the best of luck
April 13, 2020 at 1:07 am #567606Kaplan study text and exam kit. I have so far passed all my papers first time including the dreaded Performance Management.
The secret lies in question practise. Make sure to solve all the questions and knowledge checks in the study text and exam kit. Then review the model answers and notice where you went wrong. More importantly, understand why the given answer is correct.
And finally, practice using the online software.
I self study and I work full-time in non accounting sector. So it’s possible. Just perseverance.
Best wishes next timeApril 13, 2020 at 1:10 am #567609Hi,
Thank you – that’s what I am planning to do… !
Congrats again 🙂

First attempt 80%April 13, 2020 at 3:51 am #567669Very first ACCA exam and didn’t plan time properly as didn’t even start 1 of the 15 markers due to time running out.
Passed with 68%….
Was certain I had failed because of this so absolutely over the moon this morning and that’s thanks to Open Tuition.
I must have aced the short questions which I did find reasonably straight forward.
A fantastic job you all do on the OT team and so deeply appreciated for the free support. The tax lectures were top drawer, informative and amusing with some great craic.
To my fellow students that just missed out, dig in and keep your head in the books as your day is surely just round the corner.
Stay safe everyone.

April 13, 2020 at 8:02 am #567754Passed with 70%.
April 13, 2020 at 8:50 am #567791hi gerald. i only used open tuition notes and videos as well as Kaplan question bank.
i studied strategically, there’s always corporation and income tax in part C, so focus on that first , work questions till you’re getting at least 9/15 even with the dumbest mistake.
then you can focus on the rest of the topic when you’re at good level on the above.
i only had about 6 weeks to study.. so you can defos part with the time we have now.
practice , practice, practice and if you’re christian, pray! you need the grace of God
April 13, 2020 at 9:31 am #567807Failed with 43 in my 2nd attempt which is a shock for me because my 2nd attempt was far far better than my 1st attempt where I was convinced i failed (45 in 1st attempt).
Had F5 exam too where i did terribly and got the exact same as f6, 43 marks.Genuinely cant get my head around the fact that one exam was much better than the other yet I got the exact same mark
April 13, 2020 at 9:59 am #567820Passed first time with 76% – used BPP revision books practice questions to see where you make mistakes and lose points…. Thank you open tuition for your brilliant notes and videos
