Congrats! I got 54, just scrapped too! I was considering doing ATX but I think I’ll pass on that ! To anyone that didn’t pass, just keeping going! You will qualify and this fail won’t matter a year from now!

Yaay! Knock out 61

Passed at 51% I’m soooo relieved I really didn't think I did enough to pass. Studied so hard for this paper but fell apart in section C with nerves. Very happy! Good luck everyone!

Over the Moon with 52 pass. I assessed myself at 41 max, so super happy. I was shocked when the invigilator said I couldn’t use pen and paper for remote exam. Was considering not to start the exam, but glad I had.... How others coped without a scratch paper for TX?

Woke up in the night to a pleasant 65% Pass. Much better than I would have hoped. I think the remote sitting helped me to concentrate more and plan my answers better. Good luck everyone!

Got 77%, cannot believe it. Big thank you to the Villa fan that does the Tax lectures. Best tutor on open tuition without a doubt. Up the Villa

Pass! Special thanks to the tax tutor. What initially looked like an insurmountable amount of information and rules all started to make sense after listening to your lectures and completing the suggested exercises. It took me quite some time to go through the lectures, so I cannot imagine how much time goes into preparing and recording them. Thanks again & good luck to Aston Villa!

Thank you openTution and many thanks to the tutor. My first attempt and I passed because of your help! I am motivated to continue pursuing my professional designation. All the best to everyone and never give up even if you had failed, just keep trying!

I never liked tax and left it off as my last applied skills exam. I just passed with 63% after failing this same exam three times! 48, 49 and 45 last December (I didn't see the last question till 5 minutes to the end of the exam when I was casually flipping through my answers thinking I'd finished since!) I'm posting this for that person who may be feeling discouraged and tired of rewriting this paper (or if it's your first time too) What I did differently this time: I used open tuition lecture notes and the videos to prepare. Took down notes in my own words to summarise the lecture notes. Then, I did a lotttttt of question practice this time. Frankly I didn't expect to remember too many rules (as there's just a lot to remember with dates and times and all of that lengthy stuff) so I worked on knowing the calculations. Knowing the formats and all. Again, normally, I'd start with the beginning of the BPP revision kit and hardly have time to revisit the questions at the end. This time I started with the less familiar end of the book. Solved the questions from back to front i.e. from VAT back to income tax and tax administration etc. I also worked a lot of questions. A whole lottttt. In different formats, set by different tutors. I used the ACCA study hub too and practised the mock exams. Overall, you'll pass with lots of practise. The TX questions are similar over the years and the chances of passing are higher when you've encountered the questions before. I was upset when I got 49. Almost gave up but I knew I'd come too far to give up. Starting the strategic papers now. Glad to finally have crossed over!

Got 72% first attempt. the approach was : firstly watch all lectures at Open Tuition to have a first glance what is the exam about. in the meantime i was making some notes based on those lectures. and then solve all questions in KIT BPP and Kaplan, using my notes if needed. i have to say I learnt a lot when I was solving the questions from Kit, it helped me to remember all tax rulles and also make better sense of differences between tax calculation for individual and business thank you open tuition a lot I am moving for the next exam together with your support!

Did you studied only the Opentuition Notes and passed the exam or you studied the Kaplan Text book also !?
