Access to FM mock
KKimTutor3y ago#2
@accastudentem2021 - if you are looking for an FM mock you need to go the CBE practice platform https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f9/cbe-question-practice.html My post is only about new mocks for the option exams because there are changes to how they are examined from September 2022.

Hi Kim,As long as I could remember their was always a mock exam for Most of the exams. I have done the 2 Practice Exams and Specimen Exam 3 times but am finding it repetitive. Will their be a Mock exam for FM and also where on earth could you get more Mock exams they are so hard to find!! I would love to do so much more for prep before the real thing

There are also "sample Qs" for 4 exams also in the practice platform for Section C. The Sample Qs for M/J19 available here also include a section B https://www.accaglobal.com/lk/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f9/past-exam-papers.html There are also some Qs here https://opentuition.com/acca/fm/fm-revision-mock-exam OpenTuition does recommend that you purchase a revision kit - which would also include two mocks with answers and marking schemes. ACCA provides more free resources for students than any other professional accounting body.

want to know about mock exam
KKimTutor3y ago#6
@hasantarekboss - what do you want to know about mock exam?
Aarturo3y ago#7
Hi, I received an email from ACCA "By now you should be practising exam questions to time – make sure you complete the new pre-June a mock exam on the practice platform" I think they mean "pre-SEPTEMBER", but if I check on the platform I find only the mock 1, mock 2 and specimen. Last quarter a new mock appeared few days before the exam and it was useful to practice on something new. Do you know if they will add one? (I don t think so at this point in time...) thanks

@hotteto - I cannot guess what it means "new pre-June a" makes no sense. I see that the M/J 2022 sample exams have been added for the skills exams - but if you are enrolled for an options exam you should find "Pre-September 2022 Mock Exam" as well as specimen and practice exams 1 & 2 in the section "Practice exams - valid from September 2022 session onwards"

Hi Kim, Yeah I did the couse way back in June and was supposed to do the exam in June but never did. So I rang my provider which is Accounting School and they put me on for the Mock Exam so I now have the Mock Exam in ACCA platform. But my question is they use to give mock exams every 3 months without having a provider so if I didnt have a provider like accounting school how would I get them??? Second question is is it the same mock for everyone or are they different??? Thanks

@deftoneseire07 - I have identified in my responses above (August 23, 2022 at 7:34 am and August 24, 2022 at 5:02 pm) the Q practice that can be used as mocks and freely available to all students. A tuition provider may offer their own additional mocks (but are not required to) or may simply provide a marking service of any of ACCA's mocks/practice exams (but are not required to).

I purchased practice test of MA today but I am not able choose any syllabus version due to which I have not started my test yet. What should I do now?
KKimTutor3y ago#12
@sq123 - welcome to the forum but your query is completely unrelated to this thread. As you say you "purchase practice test" I presume you mean ACCA's and that you purchased just one. I've watched the video here (have you?) www.accaglobal.com/sg/en/student/exam-support-resources/practice-tests.html and since August 2022 ended yesterday there will be only one syllabus available - Sep2022-Aug-2023 - so I don't think there will be versions. If you still have a query and it is not answered by the FAQs www.accaglobal.com/us/en/help/faq-practice-tests.html I suggest you contact ACCA directly www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/footer-toolbar/contact-us.html

Hi guys I am sitting my first applied skills exam at a centre, what colour is the scrap paper they usually provide? I only ask this question as I am colour blind and not able to write on certain coloured paper.
KKimTutor3y ago#14
@yertoh22 – welcome to the forum but your query is completely unrelated to this thread. I have only every seen white paper provided as scrap in the exam. If you have any further questions please select a more appropriate post or start a new thread.

Thanks for sharing, are the answers available anywhere in PDF format?
KKimTutor3y ago#16
@tmavfc - please see this post for instructions how to access answers in the CBE platform. They are not separately available as pdfs (unlike past sample exams).
