I just donated 50 EUR. Time to give back. Brilliant service. Looking forward to studying APM.
January 18, 2021 at 2:27 am #606526Congrats on passing and thanks Henry for the encouragement, I’ll give it a few days and then see how I feel. This ACCA journey has been a real struggle and my motivation is at rock bottom. I love learning but exams were never my strong point, despite the amount of practice.
January 18, 2021 at 2:35 am #606528Thanks Cathy. I wish you all the best. How many papers do you have left?
PS still don’t understand why ACCA feel the need to release the results at this time of day given they uploaded them last week! Still cannot sleep because of the adrenaline of getting the results and maybe a couple of whiskies came into play!January 18, 2021 at 3:06 am #606536Hi Henry, I now have 4 papers left to take (including SBL). How about you? I agree why do they release the results at that time. 12 midday UK time would be better as it would also accommodate the other time zones with a number of students not having to wait until the middle of the night to get their results.
January 18, 2021 at 3:31 am #606541Passed with 63 marks in the second attempt. Thank God and wish you all be passed SBL. This module is quite difficult to handle because the scope is huge widely.
January 18, 2021 at 4:10 am #606549First attempt 43. Second attempt 73. SBL is the only paper I failed to pass on first attempt. Don’t give up!

January 18, 2021 at 5:48 am #606572Fail 36% First attempt ((((.
January 18, 2021 at 5:54 am #606575Passed with 66% and now an affliate only used two weeks to prepare for this exam because past papers suggest common sense. This is a common sense exam. Focus on key models such as PESTEL and key topics such as Integrated reporting and IT related topics such as blockchain e-marketing etc.
I don’t think anything from the study kit came up or was useful in the exam. It was purely common sense.
Watch practice to pass youtube videos instead and take little notes.
January 18, 2021 at 7:18 am #606601Passed with 74%. Well done to everyone who passed, and for the ones who not, good luck with March ’21 sitting!
January 18, 2021 at 8:10 am #606629Pass at first attempt, Thanks to open tuition. I think this exams is strictly common sense with some business acumen. One more to go until affiliate
January 18, 2021 at 8:10 am #606630First-time pass with 70%, now an affiliate! Woohoo!!
My biggest piece of advice for those sitting SBL in March is to take a common-sense approach. Theories are useful but I didn’t reference a single one in my exam, and if anything they can hamper you as you’re trying to fit one into your answer. Pretend you’re actually in the role prescribed in the exam, do a number of practice papers and you’ll be on your way. More than anything, make sure your time management is good and attempt every part of the exam, even if it’s just light-touch. Do not be fooled by the 4-hour exam length!
So happy to put ACCA behind me now, thank you Opentuition for all of your resources.
January 18, 2021 at 8:20 am #606637Congratulations, happy for you.
Did you write APM, if yes any tips please. This should be me right now but I fail Apm ?. Can’t wait to put this exams behind me. It’s draining to fail a paper
January 18, 2021 at 8:36 am #606642Happy with 72%, onto SBR!
Thanks again for the content.January 18, 2021 at 8:40 am #606644Passed with 52% first time, thank god I thought it was a fail.
January 18, 2021 at 9:09 am #606661Failed 0%. My results of remote exam were not submitted due to system error during the last 15 minutes. I managed to answer about 90% of all questions and during the last minutes everything was frozen on the platform, Pearson Viu didn’t allow me to submit my results.
Extremely discouraged (2 month of preparation and 4 hours of brainstorming work).
what a disaster these remote session by Pearson Viu. 🙁
never thought this can happen with ACCA.January 18, 2021 at 9:21 am #606669Passed 63% first time 🙂
January 18, 2021 at 9:25 am #606673passed with 77 % first attempt
January 18, 2021 at 9:32 am #606676Passed 50% at first attempt!
Huge relief as I had technical issues with remote session and everything freezed during last 15 minutes. It looks like my exam has been successfully submitted despite the technical issues.Thank you Open Tuition!
January 18, 2021 at 9:44 am #60668049 points. who decides why it is 49 and not 50?
Is there point to make a complaint and ask for review?
ThanksJanuary 18, 2021 at 9:57 am #606687Passed first time, thank you OpenTuition! I will be making a donation for helping me through them all! Thank you again!
January 18, 2021 at 9:59 am #606689Passed- first attempt- 62%
January 18, 2021 at 10:07 am #606694Passed 57% first attempt. Such a relief for me. Next onto APM.
Sorry to those that failed – I know how disappointing it is.
January 18, 2021 at 10:10 am #606698@ndevic88 My advice is not to waste your money on an admin review.
When the mark is so close to a pass, ACCA recheck the marks and make sure it is correct.
I researched Admin Reviews because I failed AA with 49% previously. I couldn’t find one person that had their exam marks changed because of a review. I went ahead with a review and thought it wasn’t worth the money. The feedback is general and not great.January 18, 2021 at 11:07 am #606756Finally passed this exam and Glory to God. For those who passed, a big congratulation and a round of applause. Those who failed, please do not give up and keep pressing forward.
With the correct exam technique and skills, one should be able to pass this exam sooner or later.Word of advice : Time management is the most crucial element in this exam and try to attempt all parts of the questions as this will increase your chances of passing.
