General ACCAACCA Qualification syllabus changes for 2023/24
if i give exam in this september than which syllabus will be applicable for business and technology (Applied Knowledge) old or the new syllabus?
@Jasleen110 - welcome to OpenTuition forums!
With the exception of TX/ATX, the "exam year" starts 1 September. So exams sat in September 2023 will be the 2023-24 syllabus.
Hi Kim, hope you are well.
Thank you for sharing this, as per the PDF, it says there are no syllabus changes for the Law exam. My exam is next week, 25th August but I can only find the BPP Q&A revision guides for exams from 1st September. Am I safe to assume this will also be fine for my August exam?
Thank you very much!
YES Olivia - that will indeed be fine.
Hello,
My name is Nilaxana, and I just began ACCA. When will we have access to the resources to study and prepare for the exams after September 2023?
Thank You
Welcome to our forum Nilaxana!
With the exception of TX/ATX, all materials for September 2023 are valid until June 2024 (see the title on the front of any syllabus)
Hi i just wanted to know if i could use the SBR study kit and revision kit from the june 2023 session for the december 2023 session (if i study for the updated question 1 format elsewhere)
You can download the syllabus from herehttps://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/strategic-business-reporting/syllabus-and-study-guide/sbr-specimen-exams---int.html
There is a summary of changes on the last page(s) - some are inconsequential but you should be aware of the things that are additions/deletions.
I recommend you avoid altogether past exam Q1s that have not been adapted to the new style - you will find lots of good examples in the ACCA's Study Hub.
Hey hope you all are fine so I want to proceed my qualification in Acca but what is stopping me is my finances. Obviously if I go and study physically both will charge fees and if I look on other side I have to pay exam fee registration fee etc...so kindly someone guide me can I do self study and which books are good for study and clearing my exam with good marks
@noor48112 - welcome to our forums but this this post is specifically about the most recent syllabus changes
At the top of this page https://opentuition.com/forum/acca-forums/general-acca-forums you should see "Create New Topic"
I recommend you read on this page the "General Posting Guidelines" https://opentuition.com/forums/forum-rules
Okay I will be careful next time

Iam new to The ACCA ,anyone opentution who can help me ,I have some issues
@Mkarin91 - a warm welcome to OpenTuition forums - but please see here for guidance on posting https://opentuition.com/forums/forum-rules
You need to make a new, relevant post with a suitably descriptive subject line - not one can help a student with "some (unspecified) issues".
Hi, there much syllabus changes in BT if I'm going to sit after 18 sept' 2023, I mean any material changes?
@HSUPYAESONE - welcome to your forums - but do please read a post before posting yourself
My initial post provides a link https://studentaccountant.accaglobal.com/2023/06/28/syllabus-changes-2023-2024/content.html where you can check (answer YES) and find details

Welcome to OpenTuition @israashfaq
Your question is answered if you look at the relevant page https://opentuition.com/acca/tx
Hi, Hope you are doing well.
I plan on sitting for my Cooperate and business law(F4)in October 2023. The material provided on your website says that its valid for 2023-2024 but my confusion arises when I go to the lectures, they are 5 years old. So are they still relevant?
Thanks in advance!
are the financial reporting lecures and notes relevant for the upcoming december 2023 exams?
@israashfaq what does it say on this page? https://opentuition.com/acca/fr
I am struggling to find lectures for the Advanced Taxation UK module. Can somebody please let me know if the lectures for this module exist, and if so, direct me to where they are on the website? Thanks

I don't think it can be any clearer:
"Free ACCA notes & lectures for December 2023 Exams"
Hello Kim Smith,
Thank you for sharing this. According to the PDF, there haven't been any adjustments made to the law exam's specific English law.
I'll take the Law Global Variant Exam in the middle of October 2023. Are there any updates that I need to be informed about?
I have primarily used the lectures and assessments from Opentuition. Do I need to evaluate any extra resources?
Thanks in advance
@nsolanki - welcome to our forums!
Especially as you are starting out on your journey, I recommend that you bookmark this page:
https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources.html
Select "ACCA Qualfication" and a menu of exams appears - select an exam - e.g. LW
https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f4.html This is the main menu for the most important resources available to you - and should be a constant source of reference.
Select "syllabus" and you can find the GLO variant - as for ENG, the last page confirms "There have been no additions to,or deletions from, the syllabus."
Hello Kim,
I appreciate your gracious hospitality.
I'll remember that and use the sites you gave me to learn more.
I just finished my foundation level and FIP but I didn't receive the diploma they were used to give , did they change that too?
Hi,
I've just registered for ACCA and aiming to sit the LW England exam, F4, in December 2023. This website is incredibly comprehensive and has been very helpful so far, so thank you. I'm ordering the kaplan study text for law but wanted to know as lectures for law were uploaded 5 years ago. Given Brexit and any other changes, are lectures along with the notes from open tuition the correct source of learning for the Dec 23 exam as my textbook will be arriving next week?
Thanks in advance
