P7 is a short syllabus and I found it straightforward. However I have a background in auditing. I know someone who has been writing p5 forever and unable to pass. I also know someone who has been writing p7 forever and unable to pass. If you were confortable with F9, I would say try P4. It is not as difficult as they say it is. Good luck in your next exam and don’t give up

yeah go ahead if you can I think P7 is less tricky than P5

Passed and affiliate finally!! Thank God & thanks OT! Was my 4th attempt, do not lose hope & dont give up My last attempt had a v good paper but only got 47, this time was ok-ish paper but cleared it, trick is to answer the scenario, not text book definitions!

Passed with 51. In December failed with 46. Self study exams P3, P6 and P5. A member now and have my life back!
Dds3ce8y ago#20
I failed p5 both in December 2017 and in March 2018 , both times with 34% and I was convinced I would pass this time. Now I have to sit two exams in June as a single mum with a demandig full time job and a financial year end this month. I am FED UP. I hate p5 from the bottom of my heart and I was very good at performance management at uni and I have 7 years of work experience. ?????

Passed first time with 53 now an affliate. Previous results P7 74 P3 52 P5 i did using open tuition lecture videos but mostly doing past papers think i did every single one in kaplan revision book. Also in exam time limit yourself to 1.8 minutes a mark be strict..i left some questions half answered then went back to them at the end but main thing is to fo all questions. Also learn the theories inside out like balance scorecard benchmarking eva transfer pricing all which came up in march exam. Im just so relieved im dont with exams its been tough. Good luck all and praise be to God who answered my prayers.

To ds3ce: Don’t give up. I had to do P2 5times before I got it, so I know how it feels. I did self studies, attended evening classes and also was a single mum with a full time job. It is possible with sacrificing family and social life. Best of luck next time.

Does ACCA provide a statement verifying that I am now an affiliate. i want to use this to apply for exemptions for my Masters. Does anyone know
Dds3ce8y ago#24
@laima522 Thank you. I am sacrificing a lot of time and I watched the video for p5 resitters from the examining team, I watched my time management, I read and understood the Q requirements. All I was doing was past papers and Opentuition. I am going again in june but this time my focus will be on p2 as it is easier to pass and I will focus on my weak areas for p5. Things like porter's 5 forces etc I know inside out.

Yes, I Failed second time . We need to do it for the third time. :(

I thought ACCA was masters level or have i got it wrong? I think from myacca you can print a certificate that shows you are an affliate and have completed all p level papers.. Also does anyone know if we need to start submitting cpd points? Just got an email about attending a seminar to get 7 cpd points??
SSvetlana8y ago#29
Passed in a second attempt with 57 marks. Also passed P4 with 53 marks in a second attempt as well. Doing these two together was really tough. To those who didn't make it : do not give up and start anew as if you never sat for it and never failed, just study in more depth. You'll be fine.
