Satesh KumarDecember 29, 2010 at 1:26 pm #75482Hi ,
i believe u should choose only 2 from those optional papers 🙂 that’s why they are optional :))) and once u’ve done then , you are free :))
refer to this page:

ansiDecember 30, 2010 at 11:17 pm #75483I concur with Ansi….you can only register for 2 of the options, the system won’t allow otherwise and even if you send in paper registration ACCA will not accept. My advice is to decide which two you are wish to go for and then start studying towards them.

Satesh: How did you manage to attempt all 3 papers in a go! Wow Great!
I am having doubts of taking even 2 papers P1 & P2 in a go!
Please advise cause i am planning to take P1/P2 or P1/P3 & and which combination is easier?January 19, 2011 at 3:07 am #754853 papers just require discipline. Many people do it while holding down full time jobs….I did P2, P3 and P7 in one sitting, whilst holding down a full time job and doing stuff on the side.
February 21, 2011 at 7:44 pm #75486I have done three papers and it was a disaster!! I cant get enough time off work for three as May is our year end.
Is P1/P3 or P1/P2 or even P2/P3 best? Any ideas? I like the sound of P1/P3 so get a day off inbetween. Does the P2 examinable docs change from Dec 2011 to June 2012?
Thanks
August 10, 2012 at 7:39 pm #75488Hi ursali.
I do not think you will be able to process that request throgh ACCA. I believe you must attempt P1 to P3 before you can choose your options. For example say you had done P1 – 3 exams…..passed P1 and P2 but failed P3, you cannot decide to just do your options and leave P3 for last. You would still HAVE TO click on P3 (ie pay for the P3 exam) and choose your options.

I sat for P1 & P3 and failed both 🙁 can I choose and pay for P1, P3, P6 & P7 for December 12, but only attend P6 & P7 and be absent for P1 & P3? Please advise. Thanks

August 14, 2012 at 11:31 am #75491You can do that panismith assuming you’ve completed P2 but it might be better to retake P1 & P3 while the information is fresh in your mind. That way you can build on the knowlodge you developed in your first round of study.
