    Hi there,

I know its probably a generic email but has anyone else received the following today? I’m a finalist waiting on my (what I hope is) final set of results.

‘Your ACCA Professional at SCQF Level 11 is now available for you to view and print. You can do this by logging into your myACCA account and choosing the ‘Print a Certificate’ option.

ACCA and FIA students will find the ‘Print a Certificate’ option within the Exam Results & Status menu option; all other students will find the ‘Print a Certificate’ option on their myACCA homepage.

    Yours sincerely’

    Hi Amy,

Yes, I got this today as well. I am also a finalist and living in Scotland. I looked up SCQF Level 11 and its says that to achieve this certificate you must have completed all your P level exams (P1-P3 and two options). Was hoping that this could be a good sign.

Look at Page 14, this shows the structure of the qualification:

    Hi there,

Yeah I’m in Scotland too. Its a bit cruel really as it could be a good sign or could just be a computer glitch and I’m still due massive disappointment next week.

Anyway fingers crossed and all the best for next weekend!

Hi there, I am the same – Scottish finalist and sat my final P-level exam in December and got this email this morning exactly the same as yours Amy. I rang ACCA as I have no idea what this SCQF Level 11 is and i just got a nervous laugh and response – advising that ACCA are aware of the issue but as it is a weekend nobody can really say anything and to phone back during the week. So yup – no idea if it’s a computer glitch or what!

oh and i also went onto myacca but i don’t see any certificates to print, so i hope that isn’t a bad sign. it’s a rough last week waiting for results, this has not helped the situation 🙁

It is wrong (and I will bring it up next week when we attend an ACCA meeting). However what is, is what is. The results will be out in a weeks time and so there is nothing to be gained by reading things into emails or web postings. Everyone should calm down and just wait – whether you have passed or failed will not be changed by worrying.

Acca said to me on the phone this morning it was a mistake and to disregard. It goes against all the ethics and professionalism they are trying to teach us!

Hi – same thing happened to me and having just phoned was told to disregard the email and given an apology for receiving.
Really hard receiving this a week before implying good news but to be told it was an error.
Good luck all, hope it is just a good sign for us!

    @john moffat

When you go for your ACCA meeting, I have to request you something on behalf of many more P2 students. Please tell ACCA to tell the P2 examiner to set more “humanly and accessible exams”

I have a few colleagues who have received an email from ACCA stating that they have been awarded their SCQF Level 11 which is an indicator in Scotland that all P papers have been successfully completed.

As a finalist who didn’t receive this email (at least 6 people I know have) I am now concerned that this is an indicator I haven’t been successful in this sitting.

ACCA have told me that this is not related to results as they do not have the results themselves to issue such emails (surely they have them by now)

Has anyone else spoke to ACCA about this or in the same position?

    Thanks

    Andrew

Hi Leigh, you mentioned your response was different – was it more positive? Grasping into anything I can!

    Hi all

Came across this on the icas website
“The qualification is credit rated at Level 11 on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF)with the qualification sitting at the same level of a Masters degree, and it is recognised nationally and internationally at this level. ”

From reading this we must receive the award if passed all exams – so main worry is whether the ACCA error is that the emails have been generated to anyone who hasn’t actually passed and been awarded it.

Of all the exam sessions I’ve been through this is by far the most difficult I’ve found waiting for results partly due to receiving this a whole week before and so my mind going into overdrive. For the moment I’m not assuming anything but think it’ll be a bigger thud if it’s bad news.
    Good luck everyone!

Like a few of you here I am also waiting on my last two P exam results and live in Scotland. I got this email last week too. I really hope that it is a sign of good news and they sent it a week too early… I will be gutted if I have failed after receiving this!
2 days to go until we find out…

Sounds like everyone who sat finals got the email. I don’t think every single person will have passed so I am thinking that this is just a generic email

    Hi @thomasspence1

    See this – https://opentuition.com/topic/acca-email/

I don’t think everyone has received however think it is possible that it has been a technical glitch. I really hope it is a good sign but won’t believe it yet.

Hi, i hope so too, just seems like too many have these given the low option passrates. Potentially the other may not be linked for emails. The reason i say that it is likely a technical glitch because just last week i received an email from acca about not sitting acca exams in a while. Acca said this was glitch and sent apology email

    Hi all,

I have had several correspondences with the ACCA with regards to this issue. The ACCA have stated that they were under gong training exercises when emails were sent in error. They have stated that these emails have absolutely no bearing on any Individual’s exam results and should be ignored, apologising for any distress caused!

It is difficult to tell whether this is genuine or them simply covering their a$$es!

Like a lot of you, paranoia and conspiracy theories are rife this close to results

    Good luck all

    Hi all

Just wondering if anyone who received the email about the ‘award notification’ by any chance seen their results when they were available early overnight?

Last few hours are tough – trying to prepare!
    I’m waiting on P6.

    GOOD LUCK!
