    I think F8 is the worst paper ever. You write and write and write. All you
    get for your effort is a fail. What am I doing wrong in F8 here. When will
    the examiner set papers that students can pass. First they send you to audit
    a park, then a hospital. Hope they don’t send us to Church next.

    Hi Admin
    Thank you very much for all the support. When are the new, changed course notes and suggested questions coming out?

    Happy studying all.

    Overall, the results are good given the level of effort each course demands. Bravo friends!!!

    A pass rate of 40 percent and over is encouraging but of 30, this should necessitate a review of the questions,the examiners and tuition providers.

    @ellya2k:

    The pass rates simply gives the percentage of people who took a particular exam who passed the paper, e.g. for P4, 33% of all students who sat the paper were successful in passing.

    But you are right that in if you receive a mark of 49 or lower for a paper, you will not have passed the exam.

    I hope I’ve understood your query correctly, but I just wanted to clarify this for you – I hope it helps.

    Maybe this is the way that ACCA control its standard.

    Dear Admin,
    As sending a massage to you is disallowed w/o being your friend please regard following:
    There was a competition connected with dec 2010 pass rate. Some of my colleague has informed me that I won the competition by having the best score at Dec P3 exam (90 points). Thus nobody has contacted me yet. Would you be so helpful and look into that matter? Thanks in advance.
    yours John
