Dear Sirs, Can you please clarify what exactly is ACCA Connect and how and when should we use it?

You might contact ACCA Connect in connections with your myACCA account: https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/getting-started/update-your-contact-details.html See at the bottom of the myACCA webpage that myACCA is the PREFERRED method of communication.
So I would say you use ACCA Connect for a query that cannot be answered through myACCA and is not covered by FAQs – the ACCA www has FAQ pages on all major topics.
