    Hello,

I am following your lectures and notes, but also I am reading a BPP study text for F4 English law.

I would like to ask you if it is necessary to read all the cases stated in the BPP study text. They well explain the theory, however reading them is time consuming and I won’t remember them.

I read them through only when the theory is too complicated.

May I avoid them? Or it is better to know them?

    Thank you

Cases are not as important now as they used to be when the F4 format required 10 x 10 mark essays

There’s now no opportunity to show off your case knowledge so remembering names has lost all appeal

However, the case are good value in that the story behind the case should help you to remember the principal principle established (or confirmed) by the case.

So keep reading them but don’t even begin to think about trying to memorise them

    Does that help?
