Hi, please may I know the real definition of “unexpired basis” in ACCA AFM? I searched through the Internet, but I can hardly find one.. would appreciate if I can be given some examples so that I can fully understand the meaning.
Thanks a lot! 🙂
The unexpired basis is the basis that is remaining when the futures deal is closed out.
I do explain all of this (with examples) in my free lectures on foreign exchange risk management and on interest rate risk management.
Oh I see. Thank you 🙂
You are welcome.
