Hi,
Is it OK to abbreviate in the exam to save time writing e.g. FS – Financial Statements, MD – managing director, FD – finance director, mgmt – management, etc…
It speeds things up but may be seen as unprofessional?

The seems to be incondistency based on the whim of the examiner. SOFP is OK but MURGC is not (material uncertainy with respect to going concern).
I think you would be ok with the examples you have given.
