Hi there,
Is it applicable if I use abbreviation in exam? For example, I notify the examiner at the beginning that I use R for the name of one company, Roamxxxxxxx.
For example, I use uni for university.

The question often introduces abbreviations for organisations’ names and its is fine for you to use those.
I wouldn’t use ‘uni’ for university etc. It detracts from the professionalism of the answer and might also cause confusion.
