No.i have never heard of anyone that has had their mark changed from a fail to a pass by going through a review.
I also failed with a score of 48, so I do have an understanding of how you feel.
Get out your books and book your place in the next exam sitting if possible.

I think when you’re that close extra effort is made by the markers anyway to ensure they have not missed anything.

But there was someone once who was told they failed, only to find out a few days later they had passed. They did not have an administration review though, they were just informed

If you managed 48 or 49% this time, I know that is so disappointing but you did really well and are already so very close that by working through some more past exam questions and rewatching some of the Open Tuition videos, you will have a much better chance to pass next time.

I would also go through John’s excellent suggested answers to the last exam, and try to see where you might have made any simple errors that perhaps cost you those 1 or 2 important marks.

I know that I misread a few multi choice questions and lost easy marks, the pressure of the exam can do that to anyone. If this was your first written exam, that can be incredibly stressful too, but now that you know what sitting under real exam conditions are like, you can use that experience to your advantage next time.

I doubt that you will have as high a chance of passing with a review, as you would with a little more study and a resit, but that is not my choice, it is your decision of course.

If you did pay for a review and still didn’t pass, a resit would be your only option anyway.
