Value for money in not-for-profit organisations is achieved through economy, efficiency and
effectiveness.
Which one of the following is an example of effective performance?
Choose one:
? A. A hospital improving the turnover of patients per hospital bed each month
? B. An increase in the average level of degrees achieved by undergraduates at a university
? C. A fire service reducing the number of fire appliances that it uses
? D. A school improving the ratio of teachers to pupils
can anyone help pls i always find trouble in these questions.
Why are you attempting a question for which you do not have an answer? You should be using a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers – they have answers and
explanations 🙂
The answer is B. Effective performance is where they are successful in what they are trying to achieve.
I do suggest that you watch my free lectures on this where I explain the difference between the three E’s with examples.
Thanks for your help John, i will look into free lectures
