Passed my FA exam today. Thanks to John for the wonderful notes / lectures on this site, I wouldn't have passed without them.

took on 26/04/2021 at remote CBE. score was 88 due to technical issues (lost half an hour).

Can somebody share how was FA exam types of questions that were asked. Thanks

Are the Mock questions harder than the actual FA exam?

It was not harder, pretty much the same. All questions were quite easy, nothing unexpected or somewhat special.

I'll be doing mine this week,i used open tuition lectures with kaplan study text and did all bpp kit questions,hope to get 60 and above,, I'll update you on the results In Sha Allah...

I got 83%,i rlly don't know if that is my marks,i was expecting lower than that coz i had self studied for 1 month only , thank to Allah and , John's lectures.

Wow Ayysha that's amazing, I'm going to do mine this December. can you pls share with me what materials did you use. i mean i just listen to the lectures here and solve the exam kit. I don't really read the study guide. did u read the study guide as well from the official ACCA publishers? do you think its worth reading the whole text

Hi everyone, I hope you all doing well and I congratulate who's passed the FA exam. I am going to take the exam in the earliers of November and I need a little insight about the exam question. Are they like BPP and KAPLAN revision kits questions or more difficult? Thanks in advance

I didn't really read all the notes in the study book ,just some while referring to the question in the kit,the last 2 weeks i sacrificed and did all the bpp kit questins and mocks,and i also did the opentuition mock to gauge myself in which i got 63,the exams questions are not hard and section b questions trust me concentrate on 2 things mostly trial balance and consolidated,most people dont get cahsflow..and try to manage your,time i made sure i had 30 min remaining for the 2nd section,and anyone who has sat down and did all bpp questions u can hardly get less than 60 coz most questions came in the same format in section A, dealing with debit and credit,and prepayment and accruals....all the best

Took on November 28th, It was 84 harder than What I expected, but ok to pass

Hey thanks Mr. John passed my Fa paper with 87. Only bpp kit questions all in 2 weeks and sat my paper.

I passed with 88% today, I found the questions fair and relatively easy.
