Well done Ann Marie, and you’re welcome
I don’t know whether to commiserate with you or congratulate you on being “stuck with OpenTuition”!
Trust me here, there are a lot worse things in life to be stuck with than OpenTuition
Enjoy your time with us 🙂
September 16, 2019 at 2:41 pm #546280I passed with a 71% score, was hoping for more to be honest but a pass is a pass!
I found the OT notes a bit cumbersome, but the online lectures were really handy to listen to when out for a walk or on the bus.
Also good to have another learning method because after a few weeks you do kind of want to throw the text book out the window!
Not a single INCOTERM question – I was disgusted!
Small donation on its way to OT as I will be looking to you again for F5 inspirationSeptember 17, 2019 at 11:46 am #546379Thank you Marian – just sorry that you found the notes cumbersome! They really cannot be condensed any further – compare them with the cumbersomeness (?) of a study text
But very well done for passing and, no matter what you say, 71% is a good, solid pass
On to F5 (as it used to be called) and upwards!
October 8, 2019 at 10:06 pm #548392I passed my exam with 62% and only studied for a month – all thanks to Opentuition and Mike’s wonderful lectures. Thanks a million for all the help!
October 9, 2019 at 7:57 am #548420Well done Layla … but you’ll probably find that you need more than a month for these later exams
Nevertheless, congratulations on passing the Law hurdle
October 15, 2019 at 9:32 am #549609Hello Mike !
Its my first time on open tuition
I have completed my first 3 papers successfully. Can i plz know how to pass the LW GLOBAL with gud marks?October 20, 2019 at 8:03 pm #550295Hi Angel
Welcome to the OpenTuition family!
How to pass the law exam?
There are numerous posts in this forum where I have spelt out in considerable detail my suggestions for passing this paper – in fact I seem to remember one within the last few days
Please may I ask you to check out the forum threads until you find one that answers your question
Then, when you’ve read it, post again with any further query … but post on the Ask ACCA Tutor thread – that way I am certain to see your post and I shall get back to you
Very briefly … don’t buy a study text, read (just read) the course notes, once each week, watch the video lectures, buy a revision kit (if you choose BPP as your material, you can take advantage of the 20% discount available when you order through this site) and spend hours and hours and hours practicing the questions from that revision kit
That should get you through!
OK?
October 26, 2019 at 10:30 am #550859ok sir Thank you sir. I will surely take ur suggestion
October 26, 2019 at 9:07 pm #550908Let me know how you go on!
November 22, 2019 at 11:12 am #553451hi”
which exams kits did you used
thanks
November 23, 2019 at 5:37 pm #553542When I did my exams there were no exam kits! There was no Kaplan and no BPP either
December 22, 2019 at 9:49 am #556308Passed my F4 Global Variant 71%
Study resources:
1) Open Tuition Lectures
2) Open Tuition Notes
3) Open Tuition MCQs
4) Open Tuition Mocks
5) BPP Revision Kit
6) One reading of BPP Study TextAverage 3 hours a day study. Was expecting around 80% considering the sources covered. Therefore, I categorize the exam as difficult.
I most thankful to open tution for being the best platform which enabled me to pass the exams privately without need to join coaching due to lack of time.
Again very thankful for your services.
Regards

Jeddah, Saudi ArabiaDecember 23, 2019 at 8:09 am #556345Well done Zeeshan … and there’s no shame in scoring ‘only’ 71% – that’s a good score!
Onwards and upwards!
December 24, 2019 at 10:19 am #556362Sir, If I have given the first five papers of ACCA, can I give my audit paper ( F8) before F6,F7? Will I face any problem ? Is F8 related to F6 or F7 in any way?
December 24, 2019 at 10:23 am #556363Sir I wish to give my law glo exam after a 20 days preparation period. I will study from all open tuition resources and practice from exam kit. Will I be able to pass this exam after such a short preparation period and with this much of studying?
December 24, 2019 at 9:44 pm #556370The audit and assurance paper (formerly known as F8) if slightly related to the financial reporting paper (formerly known as F7 – how can you audit financial statements if you don’t know their format and content?)
But the connection is not so tight that you should be overly concerned
OK?
December 24, 2019 at 9:50 pm #556371Can you pass in 20 days? How can I possibly answer that?
What else is going on in your life that may otherwise distract you?
If you put in the hours and you’re a quick learner then, yes, that would be possible
Remember that, whenever you get stuck, post your problem on the ‘Ask ACCA Tutor’ forum and I shall get back to you
OK?
December 26, 2019 at 10:08 am #556399I passed my first three papers in 3 months, considering that, will it be easier for me? I am a quick learner
December 26, 2019 at 10:15 am #556400Actually I looked at the taxation paper syllabus and I found it really hard. My plan is actually to give law exam by 15th Jan and then give two papers in the march session, performance management and one other paper. Taxation and Financial reporting look really hard and I don’t think I will be able to pass it after a short preparation period, and so the only easier option I have is to give AA exam with PM. What do you suggest? I have passed the first three papers in three months, I am a quick learner and I study full time.
December 26, 2019 at 5:36 pm #556408All the OpenTuition material is designed to make your journey through ACCA progress relatively easy
All your next 4 papers are taught and lectured by highly experienced full time professionals so, as a full-time student who’s a quick learner, you should be fine with the law paper in mid-January and any 2 of the next 4 in March
But, if you’re still not convinced, why not settle for Performance Management in March and then Taxation in June
That would leave you with Financial Reporting WITH Auditing for September as well as giving time for a (an unlikely possibility if you really are a quick learner) retake in Taxation in September
ACCA recommends taking the exams in their logical sequence so my suggestion fits in with that recommendation
Does that help?
December 27, 2019 at 8:45 am #556422thank you sir for your advice
December 27, 2019 at 1:50 pm #556431You’re welcome
January 9, 2020 at 10:45 am #557315Is this exam in the format of multiple choice ?
OR are there questions where you have to type the full answer? (I am not totally sure)Thanks!!
January 17, 2020 at 9:49 am #558940Sir I just purchased a law glo kit 2020 for practice after I finished studying from all opentuition materials. The kit has many questions and areas that opentuition lectures and notes didn’t cover. Will the material be updated?
January 17, 2020 at 3:10 pm #558971I find your post fascinating! What areas are included within the revision kit that are not covered by the OT material?
Please let me know
