For question 1, I did not get the carrying value of 6.24 as displayed in the explanation. 6M*(1.08*6/12)=3.24. What am I missing out?
The lectures had been wonderful for me. Really simplifying what I thought was hard to understand. Kudos to Open tuition
IT IS THE INTEREST ONLY WHAT SHOULD BE PROPORTIONATE so 6m + 6*0.08*6/12 up to the acquisition date. the principal will anyway be demanded in full.
