Chapters 7 and 8 are really very straight forward and, in the limited time that there was available for the video recording of live lectures, something had to give.
Both chapters (Agency and Employment law) have very much limited possibilities for questions and you should accumulate enough appreciation of these topics if you practice the mcqs in an approved revision kit / exam kit
The same comment goes for chapter 14 (Liquidations) – practice the mcqs and, when you come across a matter that you don’t understand, post again on the Ask ACCA Tutor F4 page
Floating charges can have a negative pledge clause which is basically to be notified of any proposed fixed charge on the same asset. The next point was that floating charges do not attach to specific assets.
It says that floating charges dont attach to specific assets, but fixed charges may attach to tradeable assets like inventories in which case you are not allowed to trade them so in that scenario you may have to charges conflict on one asset Hope that helped! 馃檪
A debt secured by way of floating charge could well be one that is secured by “the whole or substantially the whole of a company’s assets including goodwill” in which case the tangible non-current assets are part of the security
There’s certainly one for F7 (actually, there are 2 for F7 – there’s the working W3 song and there’s the TNCA song (with apologies to the village people)) but there isn’t one for F4
Not sure what is happening to this lecture but a few minutes into the recording it automatically stops and return to the beginning for play to be selected, please advise.
