BHPT is a bus company that offers a park and ride service from a dedicated car park to the citycentre.
The following information has been prepared by the management accountant of the firm:
1.Return journey from car park to city centre is 20 km
2. Average number of passengers per return journey is 10
3. Peak demand often exceeds capacity 4. The bus capacity is 25 passengers What is the cost per passenger kilometer?BHPT’s policy is to achieve a margin of 20 % .
What is the return fare that achieve this margin ?
