    Ratio analysis is a crucial topic in ACCA as it is both on management and financial accounting, but different terminologies are used( as per my test in PM and FR)
    Like in calculating the Gross Profit margin(GPM)
    In MA- GPM= Gross profit/Turnover *100 while
    In FA- GPM= Gross Profit/sales revenue *100 .

    Revenue and turnover were however calculated on the same basis and in some contexts they even mean the same thing as per mentioned by texts
    Can anyone please sort me out with the differences in these terminologies ?
