Sir if i got the payback for example its says 2.78, how does it say in months then? sorry, i know this is a stupid question but im confused with converting the figure from my calculator to months..

I have no idea which question you are asking about.
The choices of answer will make it clear whether they want it in years and months or in years.
Since there are 12 months in a year, 0.78 of a year is 0.78 x 12 = 9.38 months.
