The agent will not be liable on the contract. He WILL be liable to compensate the principal, but it’s the principal that will be liable ON THE CONTRACT
Sir, I don’t really understand why in number 1 In the context of the law agency , an agent will not be liable for a contract in which of the following situations? The right answer is “agent acts on his own behalf but does identify that he is an agent” . But in the notes it’s : “an agent may be held personally liable where the agent acts on own behalf even though claiming to act on behalf of a principal”. Thank you in advance.
