    This would be better on the Ask ACCA Tutor forum!

    The agent will not be liable on the contract. He WILL be liable to compensate the principal, but it’s the principal that will be liable ON THE CONTRACT

    Sir, I don’t really understand why in number 1
    In the context of the law agency , an agent will not be liable for a contract in which of the following situations?
    The right answer is “agent acts on his own behalf but does identify that he is an agent” .
    But in the notes it’s :
    “an agent may be held personally liable where the agent acts on own behalf even though claiming to act on behalf of a principal”.
