Hello again Sir,
How are you? I am sure you are in best health. I have F4 CBE exam and my preparation is stuck at the end of slaybus because I am in stress of exam. Please guide me how to relief my self from this stress. My learning speed has become slow because of this problem. I am about to end my preparation now and have to do mocks of F4 exam. My exam is on 16 December. And also guide me how to overcome my fear in Exam about the result which we get at the end of exam. Thanks
RegardsDecember 7, 2015 at 11:25 pm #288821Ok, ask yourself “What am I achieving by being so stressed? Anything positive?”
No? Then stop it. Be rational and realistic and fatalistic. The exam is going to happen. You are going into that exam room. You’re going to do the best you can. After two hours you’ll be walking out of that exam room. It’s all over. Life goes on. The sky hasn’t fallen on your head. The Earth is still going around the sun. Your mum and dad are there, at home, doing all the necessary worrying. So why are you adding to it.
You are gaining NOTHING – so do something different than studying. Go meet some friends and chill out ….. Because in your current state of mind you’re not only not learning anything …….. You are positively damaging the knowledge that is trying to stay in your head
Try to set yourself a limit of no more than three hours per day between now and the exam.. And even split that down into 6 half hour sessions. Spend 15 minutes answering 10 questions and then 15 more working out where you went wrong.
Do that between now and 16th and you should be fine.
