hi admin, what are the key tips and key areas that we should concentrate for the f9 june 2011 examinations. please advice.
All Key areas are in the notes, download them and if you cover (learn) every area there, you have a guaranteed pass!
how come f9 is never renewed??
if you look carefully, first few chapters were updated this spring, you can now see the tutor
Dear admin,
Where can i listen to chapter 14 Islamic finance?
Just read the chapter, that’s all you need to know for the exam
thx admin.:)
Dear Admin,
I think there is a mixup in the link for Chapter 23: Methods of hedging transactions exposure. The link takes you to a lecture for chapter 22.
These lectures are very helpful, Thanks!
Dear Admin
In which chapter can I find information on Islamic Finance? Can you please confirm whether this is going to be examined in June 2011 for ACCA F9?
Zeedavids123, your question is not directed to me but let me offer help. Islamic Finance, according to the F9 examiner will be included in the F9 syllabus beginning June 2011. So if you’re using BPP or Kaplan, you must have a 2011 publication; publications prior to 2011 will not contain Islamic Finance. I’m using the BPP 2011 publication for F9. Islamic Finance is discussed under the chapter on “The Sources of Finance”.
Thanks a million- I will check the study guide on this site as do not have the latest study text.
DOwnload the course notes and you will find a chapter there on Islamic finance,
yes it may be examined, but not in a great detail, what is in the notes, is enough.
Thanks, admin. I appreciate the feedback…
dear admin
Where can I find the lecture on Chapter 24? It seems the lecture dose not match the course notes.
Neon
This question really should be posted on the forums
– ask the tutor for paper f9
Thanks
admin 🙁 why didnt u ans to my ques !
dear admin.. Thanks for all of your suggestion. its really helpful. and thanks for adding Islamic finance in course note. I’m little bit confused abt how much should I memorize and how much should I write in the exam. Because the answer’s of theoretical questions in BPP or Kaplan are huge. Plz will you give a proper guideline ? Thanks you.
Sorry but there won’t be a lecture on islamic finance, what is in the notes is enough 🙂
lovely vids, but i was looking forward for a vid on Islamic finance, chpt 14, just for the ot pespective. Never mind its a small section of the syllab anyways.
dear admin

Dear Admin,
Yesterday there were added “Older lectures – recorded for June/December 2010 exams”. How are they different from the ones above them? Are these more recent? I have gone through all the ones posted before yesterday. Should I also consider the ones appreared recently?
