I have done Indian accounting and I am going to start ACCA journey from F9. I have no prior base in UK accounting. Please guide me how should I proceed with it. Also, I have an exemption from first four exams.
November 11, 2017 at 9:09 am
If you go to the main F9 page you will find links as to how to study for the paper, together with links to all our free resources.
(If you are exempt from the first four exams, why are you not starting with Paper F5? The ACCA recommend that the papers are taken in number order, and this is very sensible.

I have plans to appear in F9 paper in Dec 2017. I will take guidance from these video lectures and I have Kaplan Study Text and Practice Kit for 2016 and BPP Practice Kit for 2016. Can I use these now? As you told there is no syllabus change. Just wanted to make sure whether these video lectures are enough to get full knowledge and understanding of the F9 syllabus?
Thank you so much. Taimoor.

Iam preparing for F9 exam for the sept session. Can I pass the exam solely by watching your lectures and following the notes provided.
July 6, 2017 at 4:17 pm
Yes, provided you also watch the lectures working through some past exam questions, and attempt our practice tests and mock exam.
Most importantly you must buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They contain lots of exam standard questions to practice, and practice is vital to passing the exam.
(In future please ask this sort of question in the Ask the Tutor Forum, and not as a comment on a lecture 🙂 )

Hi John, coming back to listening to your lectures after some time and as always respect and gratitude. I am preparing for P4 now, do you recommend that I cover F9 too for a deeper understanding. I passed F9 in Sep15 so I don’t remember everything..
June 29, 2017 at 8:09 pm
It would be useful, but don’t spend time on the working capital section because those topics are not examined in P4 🙂
