@admin…..how does “you all are doing a great job” equate to being ungrateful…you are just blowing this out of proportion…smh please don’t waste time replying if you are going to do so in an unintelligent way esp if you are acting as a representative of OT…all i am saying is that downloads still exist in 2012 and having it would assist a wider population

@dontee, One can turn this around and say..the world does not owe you anything..Open Tuition certainly owes YOU nothing, this is a FREE resource. Have you thought about WHY it’s free? The only way OT can sustain the provision of high quality content for free is presumably by the revenue earned from this site. Revenue earned by pure numbers of people and affiliate ads etc. If you and your ungrateful buddies with phones that have no mobile internet access(was your phone made in this century? are you 2012 compatible?) all download the content, who do you think is going to bother visiting this site?..and consequently how long before OT cease to exist? Think buddy..it’s a wonder you’ve made it as far as P4.

@dontee, If we allowed the lectures to be downloadable then we would end up with no advertising revenue. That would mean that we would have to close the website – it is the advertising revenue that pays for the cost of making this website available free of charge.

When on the move there is a NEED for podcasts or the availability to download the videos……c’mon this is 2012 OT…..you all are doing a great job but please we NEED the offline features.

@dontee, yes it is 2012, and you can watch most of the lectures on the go on your mobile phone!

and in 2012 most people are on broadband with constant access!

we are online resource, not offline, this is the only way this site can exist.
there is no other way to provide these resources free!

@admin, thanks for response, however..i cannot access from my mobile phone even though i have broadband with constant access!

hence the request for the pod cast or availability in a downloadable format….. !

and think about others who do not have constant access to the internet…

        @dontee,
not sure why you can’t play videos on your mobile..

anyways. I said, it’s online or nothing,. there is no way around this

there are people without computers also.. so what? we can’t save the world…
let BPP and Kaplan or LSBF do it.
we have done our part by offering free resources.

Opentution is a life saver! These lectures have been extremely helpfull…although i am unable to see any lectures on valuations of acquisition and mergers. Not sure if they are uploaded or not…that chapter is important and highly typical of scenario question it would be great if it were made available too. Thanks.

I cannot tell you how helpful these lectures are for me! Planning to watch all the lectures and do a bit of revision kit practice, and we can all secure pass marks!

Will it be possible to upload lectures for acqs and mergers, reconstruction and organization for the June 2012 candidates?

Of a fact Opentuition lectures are so far no. 1. I have used them over the period and can tell how helpful they’ve been to me. Can P4 video lectures be extended to cover other topics such as International Investment Appraisal, Valuation for acquisitions and mergers, Business re-organisation etc. Thanks

    Hi John,
your lecture are probably no1 in the world.
we have straight pass with your indept explanation and step by step explaination.
All we do is minimal text book and /or revision kit pratice, bang!! and get a pass.
i donot want to get lecturs elsewhere as long as it’s on opentuion especially by John.
For the above reason we would like you to complete the letures on P4. say the missing chapter as your lecture can make a huge difference. please!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Thankx 4 de lectures
