   Hello Mike,

   Q2. Would grape vines not be classified as Bearer Fruits as well? I believe they are out of scope of IAS 41. Please help clarify.

     No, grape vines are the grape’s equivalent of apple trees. They are biological assets and satisfy the standard’s definition of a biological asset … “living plants or animals”
