Hi, yes it’s a good one. But both F6 and F7 require practice. It should be ok if you study consistently.

Hi, F7 has some theory but not so much. Sometimes there are theoritical questions in Q4 and Q5.
And F4 has lots and lots of theory…
Hope you make the good choice. Good luck 馃檪

Hi, F7 does not have so much theory. But sometimes they ask some in questions 4 and 5.
And F4 has lots and lots of theory…. more than any other F level paper (my advice: get rid of that F4 asap)
Hope you make the good choice. Good luck 馃檪

I would not do F5 and F6 togther, I think it depends on what kind of studier you are. I prefer a more written exam like F4 or F8 with a more numerical one such as F6. I found F6 absolutely fine but I am not enjoying F5 in the slightest, am doing it with F8 – not sure that is the best combination but I looked at how many days apart the exams are, as I wanted time inbetween the exams – I did not want an exam on the day after a previous exam where possible.

F5 seems to be quite complex so I would not take more than only one extra. Of course, it depends on how much time you can devote, if you work full-time etc. Pls consider also how complex your F6 variant is. Anyway, good luck! 馃檪

F5 and F6 is a good combo. F5 requires a lot of work and i wouldn’t recommend doing it with two other papers.

It is, but it would be better if you did f7 and f8 at the same time (it wont be easy but it’s better that way).

You can’t progress to option papers before you clear P1, P2 and P3 so there isn’t much of a choice. Unless of course you choose the expensive way of paying for both P1 and P2 and one more chosen paper and then not sitting for either P1 or P2.

Hi, I’m thinking of taking F6 and F8 in June. Although this combination doesn’t seem very popular in the graphic above, I like the idea of having a day between papers to revise a bit. Do you think it is a good idea to sit F8 without studying F7 first? Do I need the knowledge from F7 to sit F8?

    Many thanks

I sat for F8 long before F7 without any problems -actually F7 was my least favorite subject and thus I chose it last before I moved on to Ps. I hope this helps.

Sorry, I am taking these papers for June 2014 exam because the ACCA updated the exam format for December 2014 exam. But I am afraid I cannot cope with these papers.

Hi, although the format is going to change, the degree of difficulty shouldn’t. Why not think about doing just 2 in June and 2 in December. There’s no point in getting worked up and worried about the December format – in fact, you may find it easier!
