        Dear Kriselda,

        Thank you for sharing this.

I would advise you not to rely on the 2010 book, mainly due to the changes in syllabus which were introduced in 2010. Please go to the ACCA website and read the technical article on the link which I indicated below.. This article explains the important changes nade to the syllabus which mostly involved some elements being moved from P3 to P5, some elements being completely dropped and some new elements being introduced in the syllabus like quantitative techniques and variance analysis.. The article will give you a clear insight into the content of the syllabus.

Furthermore, I wouldn’t advise you not to use books which are very old. Myself I have always relied on Kaplan Financial textbooks and revision kits.

        Dear Kriselda,
Upon accessing the page on the link, scroll down to find syllabus updates. There you will find four important articles about the updates made to the syllabus.
Read them and for sure they will inspire you to get a new book.

    Chapter 29
    Marginal and relevant costing
    Page # 104
In Use of scarce resources in my opinion units of Product A are mistakenly not calculated correctly. As it shows that :
“There are 200 kgs of material left, which is enough to allow 40 units”.
But requirement shows that Product A is required 10 kg / unit so if we divide 200 kg by 10 kg it will give 20 units.

Are these pages originally blanked or because of connection error?

      Yes, it is enough
but you should practice as many past questions as possible. you need up to date revision kit
