Thanks for making the muck exam for P3 available. I downloaded and attempted both muck One and two. There were some semilarities between the muck and the actual paper. Especially Questions 1 and 4 of the actual exam.

Has someone done P3 – mock One?
I can’t figure out from question 1 how ROCE was calculated? where did they take the debt amounts from for both companies? ie. 100 for DPP & 68 for PP – please can someone explain???

Sorry, I can’t figure it out either. I see the 275 and 148 (=net assets) but can’t see how the capital has then been split.
They must have left you a line in the question , which was probably adapted.
@Kasik they did it wrong…see the answer they did ROCE with gearing formula….I hope my reply is not too late.
