In example 4 how do you calculate the answer 4;487?
It is from the annuity tables that are provided in the exam!!
Are you watching the lectures? Because it is in the lectures that we explain and expand on the lecture notes. It is made very clear in the notes that it is a waste of your time to use them on their own without watching the lectures.
If you have problems with the basic discounting then it would be worth your while to also watch the relevant Paper F2 lectures, because this is revision of Paper F2.
