    I understand goodwill is applied once at the start and the reason for it. I do not understand the logic of goodwill impairment also how do you decide the %of it as sometimes it’s 10%and other times as high as 80%.

      Surely I say the words Intangible Non-Current Assets as I write INCA on the screen! In addition, I always write “(W2)” after I have written INCA.

    Dear sir,
    In eg 1. you did not deduct preacquistion of $10,000, however in example 4 you deducted preacquistion of $5000.00. I am confused since both questions the dates of acquistion and year end is the same? Can you clarify.

      @shivast, Add to the consolidated ( combined ) cash figure and to the combined inventory figure ( at cost to the group ie after eliminating any pups )

        Thank you for your reply:) Originally I am from Lithuania(so you were right abourt the Baltic name:), I live in the UK now.
        It’s such a shame that you don’t do any lecturing in UK:(
        Anyway, thank you for all the lectures, It helped me a lot in F4 and F7. Will be looking forward to P2 as well. Is there any other papers you lecture?
