    Is dividends paid part of Operating or Financing activity?

      It’s either – they are alternative presentations. I always include them in operating because they go hand-in-hand with tax paid and interest paid but, if you want to show them as financing, that’s fine too

    I noticed that you have been using a lot of short answers and abbreviations e.g. “up arrow” and “down arrow” to show increase and decrease in accounts. Is that acceptable in the exam?
