You need to download out free lecture notes (as it says at the start of each lecture!). There is no point in watching the lectures without our lecture notes in from of you.
when drawing the graph it does not matter what units you take just that you should multiply the units with the given selling price and variable cost given in the question. Irrespective of whatever units you take you always get the same answer on the graph right ?
As I make clear in the lecture, you cannot be asked to draw the graph in the exam. However you are expected to understand the graph if one is given to you already draw in the exam.
I got a question about breakeven points. can you help me to solve this question?
AA manufacture produces 4 products. product W product X Product Y Product Z $ $ $ $ Selling price 56 67 89 96 Contribution 7 1 15 11
the budgeted unit sale ratio W:2, X:3, Y:3, Z:4 and the fixed costs are budgeted to be $15,000. what is the number of units of W that would be sold per month at the budgeted breakeven point is nearest to?
You must ask this in the Ask the Tutor Forum, and not as a comment on a lecture.
However, you must have an answer in the same book in which you found the question (unless it was given to you as a test) and so you should ask about whatever it is in the answer that you are not clear about. You should not waste your time attempting questions for which you do not have answers – you should be using a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers.
If it was given to you as a test, then we do not do your homework for you 馃檪 Type out what you think is the answer and I will tell you if I agree!
Either way, you must post in the Ask the Tutor Forum and not here.
