Note:
These course notes are not meant to replace study texts. To succeed in your exam it is vital to practice as much as possible and so you should buy a current edition of a Revision kit from an ACCA approved publisher – they contain lots of exam standard questions (and answers) to practice on.

To fully benefit from these ACCA F2 notes, you must watch F2 lectures
No problem, Michelle 🙂
I would also like to study with a bpp F2 and F3 textbook but not seeing a specific ACCA text for it on the site. I am only finding financial accounting and management accounting for AIA. Can anyone advise me on whether it is the same text.
No it is not the same.
The BPP texts are labelled for ACCA Paper F2/FMA and for ACCA Paper F3/FFA
Thank you John.
Need notes on flex budget and fixed budget. Functional budgeting.
Try reading the chapter in our Course Notes on budgeting and watch the lecture that goes with it. Flexed budgets etc are all covered.
for june 2014 the syllabus changed but is the BPP book for F1 F2 F3 (for exams february 2013 to january 2014) still usable for this yr notes and exam?
For F2 the syllabus has not changed – only the format of the exam – and so you do not need new books.
what about F1 and F3 then
If you go to the home page of this website you will find links to notes about the change of exam format for each of the papers which contain details of any syllabus changes.
I know that for F3 the only change is terminology – renaming the Income Statement as Statement of Profit or Loss.
I don’t know about F1 – you asked this on a page for comments about F2. I don’t teach F1.
are there notes on job, batch and service costing because i dont find them in the course notes???
please reply as soon as possible i have a f2 exam on this friday 07/02/2014
No – sorry.
i thouht these topics were in the f2 syllabus
They are, but our notes do not claim to cover every single topic in the syllabus.
Our notes and lectures cover more than enough to pass the exam well.
i am new in ACCA i will be writing in june 2014.i will be glad to seek assistance and support when the need arise from this room
— for help with F2, please use one of the Paper F2 forums – not this page —-
