I think the OT F1 notes should be enough to let you achieve a pass. However, it is important that you do lots of questions and ideally a mock exam. In my opinion, some of the questions are sneaky and you need exposure to them to practice homing in on the correct answer.

Just wondering if these course notes are enough (in content) for a passing grade in the paper? I know it depends on the abilities of the student as well, but I just wanted to know if these notes contain all the info for the F1 paper? The textbook is filled with so much unnecessary information and I’ve the paper in 10 days. If anyone can reply in this matter, i’d be grateful. thank you 🙂

I see where you’re coming from, but I think ‘minimum’ is OK. It’s trying to say that FS should all have a basic level of consistency (basic = minimum). I’m not sure GAAP can impose maximum consistency as that would happen only if all FS were drawn up on exactly the same bases.

This new notes are of high quality and I am sure that students can pass F1 easily by just reading this note. I hope F8 was enough for me too when I take F8 next year, this note is easier to understand compared with textbook
