i just wanted to ask if any changes were made in the sylabus in 2012?? i have the textbook of 2011,,should i use it for july 2012??

hello, am new to opentuition and am studying F1 with BPP study materials but the topics on here and that in the materials provided doesn’t tally…please can you explain how I can use this better…am way behind and hopefully to sit for my exam in June.
Best is to use our Course Notes and watch the lectures. Use the BPP text more as a reference book for anything you are not sure about, or you want more on. When you have watched the lectures practice as many questions as you can from the BPP or Kaplan revision kits.

hey admin, currently am on the self study! its really getting confusing sometimes, the lectures were excellent!but i feel its not enough spoken,i.e from the kaplan books am studying,there is lot more information where as some were not discussed in the lectures. please help!!

@herbiby, Well, all of the 3rd lecture is on centralisation/decentralisation. Why do you expect our lectures and material to be in the same order as Kaplan’s? (Whoever they are!)
@herbiby If you have learnt everything that is in the lectures, you will pass your exam, the key is to practice as many questions as possible,

I have a question i wanted to know if you are covering entire syllabus of f1 ? and also that i have f1 Kaplan book , the chapters here and in the book do not co-relate. This was just confusing me . I will realy appreciate it if you can reply fast because i am planing of giving f1 by this months end. Thank you!

There is no reference to ‘business environment’ as a discrete topic
in the detailed study guide. ‘Business environment’ is an amalgam of various environments such as economic and political environments and regulatory environments etc. These are covered.

@gromit, i have the bpp learning media and in it chapter 7 is fully related to this topic…it includes political risk and political change, health and safety, data protection and security,.social and demographic trends,outsourcing,competitive forces,porters generic strategies and other such topics ….which i m unable to find in the given topics…
