True (although it is very like one of the examples I work through in the free lecture 馃檪 )

Hello.
In regards to question 3, it gives you the workings but i’m still not 100% where that equation / workings came from. Can you explain what part of the lecture I should re-watch? I do have all the notes from watching the lecture but still can’t seem to work it out – i’m sure it’s really obvious I just seem to be missing something!

It is the lectures on allocation, apportionment, and absorption of overheads.
You need to calculate the absorption rate per hour for each of the cost centres and then use these rate to get the overhead per unit for product M.

First you do not state which of the questions you are referring to (and the workings for the answers appear in the pop-up window after you submit your answer).
Secondly I assume that you watched the free lectures on this before attempting the test? The lectures explain everything in depth!
For q4 from where we get 50 hours
$400 is paid for labour.
Labour is paid $8 per hour.
Therefore there must be 400/8 = 50 hours of labour.
