    Hi John,

    Thanks for the great example!

    I was caught out by the ambiguity in the last sentence of the question – I read that Combi “will only be prepared to consider the cheaper refurbishment” to mean that it would neither consider shutting down the office, nor the expensive refurbishment and only choose the cheaper refurbishment, if the survey indicated a poor result.

    Hoping to not get caught out similarly in the exam!

      Yes. They cannot really ask you to draw one (and so they can’t really ask for one in the paper based exam either – it would not be fair). But they can test that you understand them. For example, they could give you a tree already drawn in the question, but expect you to be able to calculate the values at various points.
