  2. If there is no actual tax deducted at source by the paying company, why should the dividend income amount be grossed up?!

  3. So, with regards to savings income, if the figure is 2560 and under then the starting rate of 10% applies; and if the savings income is more than 2560 then there is no starting rate?

    • @charmsugar, If the Non-savings Income is 2560 or less, the tax will be calculated as follows: 2560x 10 %= xx

      However, if the Non-savings income is more than 2560, normal tax rates will be applied, i,e suppose your non-savings income is 10,000, so your Tax calculation will be 10,000 x 20 % = xx

    I have some problems opening the first lecture–introduction of syllabus.We’ve got a firewall here,and it seems that you put the lecture in youtube.we can’t open it ,Can you handle it please?Other lectures could meet this problems sometime.
